If you are experiencing intermittent connection loss with your power meter, try the following steps:
-
Ensure that the power meter has the most up to date firmware version installed. To check for firmware updates, simply connect the power meter to the 4iiii App, and you will be prompted to update the firmware if the most recent version is not already installed.
-
Replace the battery with a new CR2032 coin cell battery. Also ensure that the battery that you are using does not come with the bitter coating, as these have been shown to cause connection issues.

-
If riding with your power meter connected to a cycling computer/head unit, ensure that you do not have any sensors that would conflict with the power meter connected to your head unit.
For example: If you also have a speed/cadence sensor connected to your head unit, it can cause signal conflict with the power meter as the power meter is also trying to communicate cadence to your head unit.
-
Prior to your next ride, calibrate/zero-offset your power meter
