"Road Feel" on a trainer describes how closely it replicates the feeling of riding on the road. Many trainers attempt to replicate this feeling by including a spinning mass like a flywheel. The Zero uses your wheel as a flywheel, optionally with wheel weights added on.
To improve the road feel on a STAC Zero, there are two methods:
Method 1: Set the magnets wider and shift to a higher gear.
When you set the magnets wider, it lets you spin your wheel faster at a given level of effort, which improves road feel by storing more energy in the wheel, like a flywheel.
Method 2: Install the included wheel weights
Installing the wheel weights included with your trainer increases the amount of energy stored in your wheel at a given wheel speed and effort level, which improves the road feel by creating a flywheel effect.
