Compatible apps
We're working closely with major app developers such as TrainerRoad, Sufferfest and Zwift to ensure full compatibility with Fliiiight on all their platforms before Fliiiight is available in stores.
More details will be available as we get closer to the release date. Stay tuned!
Other apps
- Apps that follow standard Smart Trainer connection protocols
- Apps created for a specific trainer brand
- Apps without smart trainer control
Apps that follow standard Smart Trainer connection protocols
There are so many compatible training apps that we won't have a chance to test them all. In order to be compatible, an app only needs to be capable of sending smart trainer commands using one of two standard connection protocols:
- ANT+ FE-C (fitness equipment controlled)
- Bluetooth Smart [BLE] FTMS (fitness machine service)
Apps created for a specific trainer brand
Apps that are created for a specific brand of trainers may not follow the standard Smart Trainer connection protocols. These apps often aren't capable of controlling trainers by other brands, including the 4iiii Fliiiight.
Apps without smart trainer control
The older generation of cycling apps pre-date smart trainers. These apps can receive power data from the trainer via Cycling Power (Bluetooth) and PWR (ANT+) but they aren't capable of smart trainer control.
