Bluetooth: My training app can't find Fliiiight when it scans for devices
Updated
Try pedalling. Some apps may not recognize the trainer unless it is broadcasting power.
Make sure Bluetooth and location services are enabled on your phone and airplane mode is off.
Allow Bluetooth and location permissions for the app. If you've disabled these permissions previously, you can turn them back on in the app permissions settings on your phone.
Put the phone or device briefly into and out of airplane mode.
Do not attempt to connect to the trainer in your phone’s main Bluetooth connection menu, as it is a different connection protocol. If you have previously tried connecting in the phone’s Bluetooth menu, put the device briefly into then out of airplane mode and connect from within your app's connection menu.
Move the controlling device closer to the trainer. Bluetooth Smart is a short-range, low-power protocol and tops out at about 15ft (4.5m).
Check the light pattern. A solid blue light indicates Fliiiight is unpaired. One long blink alternating with 1 to 3 short blinks indicates the number of available bluetooth channels that are already paired. Three is the maximum. Shut down all other training applications and try again.
Charge the trainer. A low battery can affect the trainer's radio signal strength and range.
