Ride Ready
Our line of Ride Ready powermeters come preinstalled on new Shimano crank/cranksets in the 105, Ultegra, and Dura-Ace models. Many older models of Shimano cranksets utilize their Hollowtech II Technology and you will have no problem swapping it our for one of our Ride Ready models! This also means you can switch between component levels; if you use a 105 you can upgrade to a Dura-Ace. You will want to ensure you are purchasing the same length.
You can review Shimano compatibility more in depth on their website.
*For Shimano mountain cranks, the XTR cranks must be matched up with the equivalent XTR crank model. Road and mountain cranks are not able to be interchanged.
If you do not currently use a Shimano crankset but would like to purchase a Ride Ready, you will have to change your bottom bracket to a compatible one- your local bike shop will be able to help you with this!
Factory Install
For our Factory Installed Powermeters, please refer to our compatibility list to determine this: Crank Compatibility Finder
Whether a Ride Ready or Factory Install, you will also need to check for clearance:

What if my crank is not on the compatibility list?
Installation involves more than just placement of the unit on the crank arm. Crank arms need to be individually tested for a number of variables to determine if it meets our engineering requirements and for our powermeter to meet the very high +/- 1% accuracy tolerance. Hence we do not install on crank arms not on the approved list.
We are continually working to expand our list of compatible products and will continue to update the compatibility list on our website as more options are made available.
If you have a crank that is not compatible with our powermeters, you can purchase one that is compatible and send it to us to have a powermeter installed, or purchase a complete Ride Ready crankset.
