- Keep riding. Momentary disengagement of the virtual inertia system will likely resolve itself in a few seconds.
- Make sure you are using a compatible wheel and tire.
- Make sure you have the latest firmware update.
- We recommend having a tire installed on your wheel. While not strictly necessary for the operation of Fliiiight, the extra inertia provided by a tire has a significant effect on road feel.
- Speed up! Using a higher, faster gear improves your road feel while increasing the maximum resistance and power your trainer can achieve. Note that you should always use your top gear in ERG mode.
- Troubleshoot Fliiiight's wheel detection if Virtual Inertia is not engaging, or not working consistently.
- Try plugging Fliiiight in to the charger. When plugged in, Fliiiight can slightly increase the strength of virtual inertia to optimize road feel. When unplugged, it slightly decreases the strength of virtual inertia to extend your wireless riding time.
- Make sure the height of the resistance unit is aligned for your wheel.
- Open the Chrome troubleshooting app and set the motion limit in a couple steps at a time. Note that while adjusting this setting can increase Fliiiight's maximum resistance, and increase the strength of virtual inertia, it will also increase the likelihood of wheel-magnet contact. How far you are able to customize this setting depends on your individual wheel. We recommend trying other troubleshooting steps first.
