I set up a device using Viiiiva pass through. Do I have to reconnect this device everytime I use my Viiiiva for pass through?

No, you will not have to reconnect the devices you have already setup for pass through. When you want to use your Viiiiva for passthrough, connect it to the 4iiii app and pass through will automatically be setup.
