Devices like smartwatches, headsets and bike computers are able to receive training data from your trainer and your other sensors, but most don't run smart training apps or send smart trainer commands.
In order to record your ride, watches, headsets and bike computers must receive data from your trainer using one of two standard protocols:
- ANT+ PWR
- Bluetooth Smart (BLE) Cycling Power
In order to control the smart trainer, a bike computer must be capable of sending smart trainer commands over the ANT+ FE-C or Bluetooth FTMS protocol.
